Government Advocacy

Our regional chamber has a tradition of advocacy for regional solutions and adequate infrastructure. Our government relations committee-the Regional Business Leadership Coalition-educates business leaders about public policy issues and encourages major investor members to become politically active. Every year we organize SWFL Tallahassee Days, a 2-day trip to our state capital by a delegation of Southwest Florida’s business leaders, who provide our state legislators with an understanding of the unique needs of our region. Leadership Development

Exponential growth has placed extraordinary demands on Southwest Florida. We must develop community leaders committed to a great future for our region. That’s exactly what the Chamber is doing-and at an accelerating pace. The Chamber is the oldest and strongest provider of leadership programs in the region. We have graduated more than 1000 community leaders since 1987 and are building the next generation of community leadership through Leadership Lee County (LLC). Click here to learn more about LLC.

Strategic Business Information

Succeeding in Southwest Florida means staying abreast of business trends, best practices, and public policy issues. The Chamber keeps our members and the regional business community current on the topics that will have the greatest impact on their organizations. Individual workshops, seminars, and luncheons examine both business and policy issues that affect the business community. To sign up for our next event click here.

Membership Services

The Chamber of Southwest Florida provides our members with the support they need to grow their leaders, improve their operations, and showcase their mission and vision. Each member has unique goals and needs so we take a concierge approach to assisting our members. If there is something we can assist you with, be it leadership development, public relations, government advocacy, or strategic business planning, please feel free to contact us at chamberswf@gmail.com.

Take Action!

Through the Chamber’s Program of Action, we have developed a “work plan” with leadership provided by members of the Board of Directors of The Chamber. Volunteer Committees are made up of members of The Chamber who meet regularly to actualize the goals set forth in the Program of Action. Activities are planned and executed by committees for the benefit of Chamber members but are also open to prospective members of The Chamber. The purpose of the plan, and the activities generated by each working group, is designed to enhance and advance the Mission of The Chamber of Southwest Florida.
