Chamber of SWFL Board Thanks Senator Kathleen Passidomo for Her Many Years of Service

The Chamber of Southwest Florida hosted a legislative update on August 13, 2026 with a distinguished panel including Senators Ben Albritton, Jonathan Martin, and Kathleen Passidomo, as well as State Representatives, Vanessa Oliver and Yvette Benarroach.

During the event it was our great priviledge to thank Senator Kathleen Passidomo for her 15-plus years of service to Southwest Florida. Senator Passidomo will be ending her tenure in December of 2026. She has been a shining example of servant leadership through her tireless commitment to the needs of our Southwest Florida community. Many thanks Senator Passidomo!

Senator Kathleen Passidomo has represented Southwest Florida in the Florida Legislature since 2010, first serving three terms in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016 before being elected to the Florida Senate in 2016. During her Senate tenure, she rose through leadership positions, serving as Senate Majority Leader from 2018–2020, Chair of the Senate Rules Committee from 2020–2022, and ultimately President of the Florida Senate from 2022–2024. A Naples attorney specializing in real estate and business law, Passidomo currently represents Senate District 28, which includes Collier and Hendry counties and part of Lee County, and serves as Chair of the Senate Rules Committee.
