FGCU RERI Releases May Regional Economic Indicators

The FGCU Lutgert College of Business Regional Economic Research Institute (RERI) has released its May 2025 Regional Economic Indicators report showing that single-family building permits rose by 1 percent in March compared to March 2024.  Residential listings were up 40%, while single-family home sales decreased 5% and prices fell between 4-6% this March compared to March 2024.  The Florida Consumer Sentiment Index fell in April 2025 decreasing 1.8 points from March of this year.
