Lee Health Names Ben Spence as President & CEO
Lee Health’s board of directors appointed Ben Spence as the new president and CEO, effective October 1, 2026. Spence, who currently serves as the chief operating officer, will succeed the retiring Dr. Larry Antonucci, who is stepping down after nine years in the role.
Spence has spent his entire 31-year career with the Lee Health system, originally joining as a reimbursement clerk in 1995. He has subsequently served in leadership positions including chief financial officer (CFO) and COO.
