Join REIS on Tuesday, October 13 to hear the latest updates on the RSW renovations from Steve Hennigan,Steve Hennigan, C.M., A.C.E. Executive Director & CEO Lee County Port Authority. The program will begin promptly at 11:45 a.m. in the Osprey Room at Pelican Preserve’s Clubhouse, 9802 Pelican Preserve Blvd. Fort Myers, FL 33913. Steven Hennigan is the Executive Director and CEO for the Lee County Port Authority, operator of Southwest Florida International Airport and Page Field in Fort Myers, Fla. Hennigan is responsible for the fiscal, administrative and operational oversight of the Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting Department, Airport Police Department, aviation security & technology, contract management, maintenance, operations & safety, as well as Base Operations at Page Field. Hennigan joined the Lee County Port Authority in May of 2021 bringing more than 20 years of experience in aviation and leadership. Prior to joining LCPA, he was chief of operations for the Houston Airport System (HAS), where he managed operations at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), along with oversight of operational processes and procedures for both airports. Hennigan holds a Bachelor of Science in aviation business administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Ariz. and has a commercial pilot rating. He is a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), is an AAAE Airport Certified Employee in the areas of security and operations, serves on the board for the Tony Jannus Distinguished Aviation Society and is on the Airports Council International-North America Steering Committee for Operations, Planning, Safety, Infrastructure & Development (OPSID).
