This month The Chamber of Southwest Florida will welcome Lee County School District Superintendent Dr. Nancy Graham along with Assistant Superintendent Ami Desamours and Director of Planning and Growth Marc Mora to speak about the state of our schools and give the audience their perspective on education today. Topics will include: the impact of Common Core, student assignment, enrollment growth and the challenges and opportunities the school system faces today.
The Education Forum luncheon will be held on December 17th, 2014 at the Hilton Garden Inn/Fort Myers Airport, 16410 Corporate Commerce Way, Fort Myers, Florida 33912. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the program will run from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. The chamber has confirmed that seats are available, as well as sponsorship opportunities.
