Volunteer for National Public Lands Day!

Lee County Parks & Recreation Department is calling for volunteers to help celebrate National Public Lands Day.

Saturday, September 28, 8:00 am – 10:00 am

Prairie Pines Preserve, 18400 N. Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, FL 33903

PROJECT DETAILS

Hand-pulling and hand tool pruning of landscaping vegetation around preserve parking lot to remove non-native and invasive vegetation. Staff will be onsite to help identify plant species. Debris will be bagged and removed from the project site by staff.

WHAT TO BRING

Gloves and refillable water bottles. It is recommended to wear long sleeves, long pants, and hats to protect from the sun and biting insects.
