Navigating SWFL Waters – Multiple Perspectives on the Regions’ Water Challenges

Our luncheon on Wednesday, August 21 was well attended and featured a discussion on Southwest Florida’s water challenges from various stakeholders including, academic, agricultural, environmental, and regulatory leaders. Our distinguished panel included Colonel Charlette Roman, SFWMD Governing Board Member & Board Chair of Big Cypress Basin, Dr. Greg Tolley, Executive Director at FGCU Water School, Calusa Waterkeeper Captain Codty Pierce, and Executive Director of Florida Land Council, Ernie Barnett. Also invited was the incoming Commander of the Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District, Colonel Brandon Bowman.
